Who am I

Chris is an organisational culture, strategy, leadership, change and EDI consultant. She is a lifelong Spurs fan (season ticket holder for both the men’s and women’s teams) and anti-discrimination activist and campaigner who believes football can be a positive force for social and cultural transformation. She has spent the last nine years as part of a movement seeking to rid football of discrimination in all its forms and make the game more diverse and inclusive.

Chris maintains that the most effective way forward is intersectional. She is Chair of the Board at the Women’s Equality Party; Trustee of LGBT+ education charity Just Like Us; Non-Exec Director of Leaders Unlocked, a social enterprise which enables young people and underrepresented groups to have a stronger voice on the issues that affect their lives.

Chris spent many years running Europe’s first ‘out’ women’s football team and is Vice Chair and Trustee of Kick It Out, independent member of the FA’s Inclusion Advisory Board, Board Member at the Football Supporters Association, Supporter Representative on FA Council, Proud Lilywhites representative on, and co chair of the Tottenham Hotspur Fan Advisory Board and member of Women in Football.

Chris is also a keynote speaker and broadcaster; hosting the Echoes of Glory podcast and regularly appearing on radio and television.
